Private Dining at Gourmet Parlour

An intimate evening, collected like pages in a scrapbook. Private dining at Gourmet Parlour is a chance to gather your favourite people around a table that feels like it was set just for you.

The private dining experience is built around great food, a distinctive interior, and the option of a real on-site poker-table zone. Every private event is treated as a personal memory in the making, not a standard function.

Why Private Dining at Gourmet Parlour

A Room That Feels Like a Memory

The private dining spaces at Gourmet Parlour are not blank function rooms; they are corners of the restaurant that already hold the warmth of an evening well spent.

The interior is designed like a scrapbook of collected moments, with warm paper tones, hand-drawn details, and soft lighting. Private dining areas are set apart but still feel connected to the restaurant's lively atmosphere.

A little worn in, and all the better for it.

Service That Feels Personal

From the first enquiry to the last course, the team at Gourmet Parlour treats your private event as a personal occasion, not a standard booking.

Menus are discussed with you directly, and the kitchen can adapt dishes to suit your group. The venue's intimate scale means staff can give your event focused attention.

The Private Dining Spaces

The Parlour Room

A warm, wood-panelled room that feels like a private study, with a long table that seats up to 16 guests. It is ideal for birthday dinners, family gatherings, and small celebrations.

The room features soft lighting, paper-textured walls, and a small collection of framed menu clippings. A dedicated server is assigned to the room for the duration of your event.

Seats 16

The Card Room

A more casual space adjacent to the poker lounge, with a mix of high tables and lounge seating for up to 24 guests. It works well for cocktail-style events, product launches, or casual gatherings.

The room has a subtle card-and-chip motif in its decor, reflecting the on-site poker lounge. Guests can spill out into the poker lounge area if the event includes that space.

Seats 24

The Chef's Table

An intimate counter seating for up to 8 guests, directly facing the kitchen pass. It offers a front-row view of the kitchen at work and a more interactive dining experience.

The chef can talk through each course as it is served. This space is best for food-focused groups, small business dinners, or special occasions.

Menus for Private Dining

Set Menus

Choose from a selection of set menus designed for sharing, with options for two, three, or four courses. Each menu can be adjusted to suit your group's tastes.

Set menus are priced per person and include a mix of signature dishes and seasonal specials. The kitchen can accommodate most dietary requirements with advance notice.

A sample: sourdough & whipped butter, slow-braised lamb, dark chocolate tart.

Shared Feasts

For larger groups, a shared feast style encourages conversation and a relaxed pace. Dishes are placed in the centre of the table for guests to help themselves.

Shared feasts work well for groups of 10 or more. The kitchen can suggest a balance of dishes based on your group size and preferences.

The Poker Lounge as an Add-On

A Real Room, Not a Screen

The poker lounge at Gourmet Parlour is a physical room with real tables, cards, and chips. It can be reserved as part of a private event for a casual game among your guests, with no online gambling, payments, betting, or prizes involved.

The lounge is furnished with professional-grade poker tables and quality chips and cards. A staff member can be on hand to explain the basics if your group is new to poker.

A Scrapbook Memory

"We booked the Parlour Room for my mother's 60th, and it felt like we were dining in someone's beautifully kept scrapbook. The team wrote handwritten menus, the food was wonderful, and the poker lounge was a hit with the cousins. It was the most personal celebration we've had."
